The majority of my business is WordPress-related consulting, but the skills that it involves (PHP, CSS, HTML, MySQL) are generally applicable. Maybe you want to start using WordPress but don’t have the time or knowledge to set it up yourself. Maybe your WordPress powered project is looking good but needs some custom functionality to make it a masterpiece. I can help you.
What Can I Do For You?
- Website re-design: Is your website looking a bit dated? Fed up of breaking out an HTML editor every time you want to change a line of text or add a picture? I can re-design your website and give you a system that is easy to maintain and customise.
- WordPress plugins: Is WordPress missing the functionality that would make it the perfect solution for you? I can find and adapt existing plugins or develop a custom solution to meet your requirements. Examples of the GPL licensed plugins I have released can be found on the projects page.
- Installation, upgrades, backups and maintenance: Do you need WordPress installed or upgraded? How about scheduled backups and plugin maintenance? I can get your WordPress based website up and running the way you want it and look after the ongoing maintenance as well.
- Layout and style customisations: I can tweak the appearance of your current WordPress powered site, including fonts, colours, metadata and layout to get the look you are after.

My Rates
The payment arrangement that suits you will depend on the time-scale and scope of your project. One-off or sporadic tasks are usually charged at an hourly rate. Alternatively, for larger projects or those where the scope is strictly defined, I can often quote you a flat rate for the project. If you need me on a regular basis then discounted monthly retainer agreements are also available. Hours as part of these agreements are charged at a lower hourly rate and I’ll make sure I’m available to provide those hours within the month.
